La Plage By La Maison Ani Returns To West Beach On October 1st

Following two successful seasons on Palm Jumeirah’s West Beach, La Plage by La Maison Ani returns to The Club on October 1st. The reopening follows a summer residency at Hacienda White in Egypt, where the concept debuted under its new name, before returning home to Dubai for another season by the sea.

Previously known as Maison de la Plage, the new name creates a clearer connection with Chef Izu Ani’s La Maison Ani. As its seaside expression, La Plage by La Maison Ani brings the restaurant’s signature dishes and Chef Izu’s approach to French and Mediterranean cooking to the beach, while retaining an identity of its own. Alongside La Maison Ani favourites, the menu also features dishes created specifically for the beach experience.

La Plage by La Maison Ani brings together a restaurant, beach, pool, cabanas and lounge, allowing guests to move easily between lunch or dinner, afternoons by the water and drinks as the sun sets. Families can spend the day between the beach, pool and restaurant, while the cabanas offer a more private setting. The menu includes Salad Niçoise, Escargot in garlic butter with anchovies and the Izu Burger, alongside a wider selection of dishes suited to meals shared by the sea.

Later in the season, three market areas will introduce a more interactive way of dining, allowing guests to select ingredients and decide how they would like them prepared. At the green market, guests will be able to select fresh produce, while at the fish market, they can choose their catch and preferred preparation. The meat market will offer cuts for sharing, including a dry-aged selection unique to La Plage by La Maison Ani among Chef Izu’s venues. Inspired by the French markets chef visited while living in Normandy, the experience puts the ingredients and guests’ choices at the centre of the meal.

“Food has always been a way for me to bring people together,” says Chef Izu Ani. “With La Plage by La Maison Ani, guests can enjoy a connection to La Maison Ani’s cooking in a setting that has its own spirit. I want people to come for a meal, stay by the sea and feel as welcome here with their family and friends as they would in my home.”

The interiors bring together natural materials, expressive patterns and colourful tableware, with details inspired by Chef Izu’s travels. The atmosphere evolves throughout the day, moving from relaxed afternoons by the beach and pool to livelier evenings in the lounge, with live music and band performances forming part of the evening programme.
