Celebrate French National Day weekend at carine; on Thursday 11th and Sunday 14th July, carine will honour the annual event with two live performances. French singer Annabelle Veltri will be live on both evenings and DJ Julien will accompany Annabelle on Sunday 14th, both are there to complement the already enticing warmth and vibrant ambience of the restaurant.

However, we’ve got good news for all of those hip-hop lovers out there – Barasti has decided to reveal the name of the surprise act who have already touched down in the UAE and are ready to impress the crowds at Barasti this evening for an extra special Independence Day celebration.
Posdnuos, Trugoy and Maseo, the famed members of De La Soul who and are renowned for bringing next-level energy and charisma to their performances will be taking the stage at an unannounced time this evening at Barasti’s House of Whatever.
Formed in 1987 in Long Island, New York – the trio are best known for their eclectic sampling, quirky lyrics, and their contribution to the evolution of the jazz rap and alternative hip hop subgenres. Their debut album, 3 Feet High and Rising was one of the most influential albums in hip-hop history and they’ve collaborated with the likes of Snoop Dogg, Little Dragon, 2 Chainz and Damon Albarn – meaning this is certainly one performance not to be missed!
There will be a range of insane competitions, competitive drinks deals and some epic prizes up for grabs from 8PM, however, the famous beach bar suggests guests arrive early to secure their spot front row.
The authentic Turkish steakhouse, Gürkan Şef has introduced its summer offer to cater to all those who enjoy a leisurely lunch across the city. This Summer lunch deal will be available during the weekdays from Sunday to Thursday between the hours of 12PM to 7PM.
The offer includes the option of two menus, the Fast Hot for when you want to grab a quick bite to eat and the Big Hot menu for those who need a full tummy to help them close the deal. These two lunch options include a selection of 3 different dishes each:
Fast Hot express lunch menu AED 99
The Fast Hot Express Lunch Menu includes a choice of three mains, a dessert and a soft drink for only AED 99. The three main courses are the Gürkan Şef Signature Burger, Chicken Pesto and Tagliatelle Alfredo with Minestrone Soup.
The delicious and juicy Gürkan Şef Signature Burger includes a 180g veal patty with tomato, lettuce, caramelized onions, pickles and cheddar cheese served with French fries and a soft drink.
The second main to choose from is the Chicken Pesto made with grilled chicken breast and homemade pesto also served with French fries and a soft drink.
The third main dish is the Tagliatelle Alfredo with Minestrone Soup which includes pasta tossed in parmesan cheese and garnished with mushrooms and fresh parsley.
For dessert, guests can enjoy the Sehvet, a special Gurkan Sef dessert made from bitter chocolate Medina dates, carob molasses and an option of Turkish tea or coffee.
Big Hot AED 129
The Big Hot menu includes a choice of three mains for the hungry ones. Mains include Lamb Skewers, Rib Assado and Meatballs all served with the Turkish shepherd’s salad. The Turkish Shepherd’s salad is made up freshly picked vegetables drizzled with olive oil and full of bursting flavors.
All Big Hot Lunch orders come with soft drinks, and an authentic Turkish tea or coffee as well as a Sehvet, a special Turkish dessert made from bitter chocolate Medina dates and carob molasses.
It’s Happy Hour every day at The Lighthouse in D3 where guests are offered signature beverage’s like The Amigos, Bunga Bunga along with grape and sparkling. The Lighthouse is a restaurant and concept store with a menu created by the famous Chef Izu Ani, the fare focuses on fresh, organic and seasonal produce served in a perfect space to come together in a relaxed environment.
