With the return of cooler evenings, the MICHELIN-starred Jamavar Dubai welcomes the season back onto its golden-hued terrace. The Golden Hour menu, served daily from 4:00pm to 7:00pm, invites guests to indulge in artful small plates and perfectly crafted drinks, where the restaurant’s signature Indian elegance finds new expression in an early evening ritual, relaxed yet refined, spirited yet serene.
Set on a terrace adorned with hand-block printed linen and décor reflecting the warm hues of sunshine and yellow, the space offers an inviting atmosphere that glows with the charm of Indian artistry and Dubai’s golden-hour light.
Indoors, guests can enjoy a selection of thoughtfully paired Indian small eats and cocktails crafted by Bar Manager Jeet Verma, including elegant pours like the Cherry Chilli Margarita, the smoky-sweet Kashmiri Old-Fashioned, or the J&T, a crisp blend of gin, tropical cordial, peppercorn, and elderflower tonic. These can be enjoyed alongside dishes such as the Malabar Prawns, sautéed with white turmeric, curry leaves, and onions, or the Ajwaini Paneer Tikka, where homemade cottage cheese is grilled and served with mint chutney and raw papaya salad. The Lamb Seekh Kebab, delicately spiced with Kashmiri chilli and served with a mixed sprout salad, brings a bolder finish.
Outdoors on the terrace, the Golden Hour menu continues with lighter preparations, including Kathal Bhel, jackfruit cutlets on puffed rice with tamarind-date chutney, and Samosa Papdi Chaat, layered with spiced white peas, honey yoghurt, and mint. Guests may also enjoy the classic Chicken 65, served with curd rice and caramelised shallots, or the Chef’s Selection of Chakna, featuring masala kaju, pappad, mathri, and chutney. These dishes pair seamlessly with non-alcoholic cocktails, such as the tropical Jamavar Spritz with Lyre’s Italian Spritz 0% and pineapple soda, or the ever-refreshing Mango Lassi.
Alongside the Golden Hour bites, Jamavar’s full à la carte menu is also available, allowing guests to further explore the restaurant’s celebrated Indian cuisine as the sun sets over the city. Jamavar Dubai’s terrace is a destination for golden afternoons and twilight indulgence for a seasonal escape shaped by craft, warmth, and flavour.
