AVLU, the Aegean-inspired restaurant known for its refined Greek and Turkish flavours, will open its first Dubai location at Palm Jumeirah’s East Palm Views in Q1 2026. The new licensed venue will overlook East Palm Marina, with sweeping views across to the Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab and the private sands of Frond A, bringing AVLU’s distinctive style of dining to one of Dubai’s most coveted waterfront settings.
The move to Palm Jumeirah signals a bold new chapter for AVLU. Building on the brand’s Abu Dhabi success, the Dubai restaurant will bring an evolved menu and an entirely new design DNA. Anchoring the culinary experience is a live barbecue grill, complemented by an expanded seafood selection, a showcase fish display, and a dedicated steak program featuring US Prime and Wagyu cuts. Turkish kebabs and an extensive variety of cold and hot mezze will round out the offering, making AVLU the first Aegean concept in Dubai to bring seafood, kebabs, and steak together under one roof, all delivered at the highest quality.
Design plays a starring role in the new restaurant. Created by Bishop Design, one of the region’s most influential studios, the space moves away from the typical white-and-blue palette often associated with Aegean venues. Instead, it draws inspiration from the sunlit shores of the Mediterranean, with off-white tones layered against citrus bursts, pale yellows, mosaics, murals, and organic textures. The result is a refined yet relaxed environment that feels more like a sun-drenched garden on the coast than a traditional dining room. An open kitchen, waterfront terrace, and photo-friendly murals and sculpture will add to the restaurant’s lifestyle appeal.
Leading the kitchen is Culinary Director Olcay Hanci, whose career spans years of refining Aegean and Turkish cuisine across international destinations. At Palm Jumeirah, he will oversee the introduction of new seafood and grill-led experiences while ensuring the signature dishes AVLU is known for remain at the heart of the menu.
