This May, Akabeko, Dubai’s first tabletop Yakiniku Japanese restaurant located in Palm Jumeirah brings diners a range of unique dining experiences to savor throughout the month. Offering world-class, premium A5 Wagyu with up to 12 marbled cuts, Akabeko delivers an immersive tableside grilling experience that brings the authentic flavors of Japan to the heart of Dubai.   Highlighting the month’s stand out offering is the newly launched Three-Tiered Set Menu, designed to cater to different palates —from the introductory Akabeko Set, to the refined Signature Set, and the advanced Ultimate Set featuring gourmet touches like Sea Urchin, Truffle, and Foie Gras, each set promises a journey through Japan’s rich culinary tradition and flavors. Three Tier Set Menu

Akabeko invites diners to experience the essence of Japanese Yakiniku with its newly launched Three-Tier Set Menu, a trio of thoughtfully curated dining journeys, each tailored to cater to a different level of indulgence. 

The Akabeko Set is perfect for those seeking an introduction to Akabeko’s Yakiniku experience. It features a 6-course beginner set with a seasonal appetizer platter, an Akabeko Salad, and a seasonal Miso Soup. Guests are treated to a selection of three Wagyu cuts of the day, followed by a choice of a main dish— between the Wagyu Curry, Wagyu Stew, or Yuzu Ramen and concluded with a dessert.  

The Signature Set is crafted for those who appreciate variety, it offers a 10-course exploration of Japanese flavors which includes a seasonal appetizer platter, an Akabeko Salad, a Wagyu sushi set of the day, Negi-tan, and seasonal Miso Soup. Followed by three Wagyu cuts of the day, Ribeye Suki, Yakiniku Don, and Yuzu Ramen, rounded out with a dessert to end the experience on a high note. 

For those well-versed with Japanese cuisine and craving it, The Ultimate Set promises an elevated culinary experience, highlighting premium ingredients such as Sea Urchin, Truffle, Hokkaido Scallops, and Foie Gras. This 12-course meal features a seasonal appetizer platter, an Akabeko Salad, Golden NigiriAkabekoJewel Cup, Negi Tongue Wrap, and Thick-Cut Tongue. Guests are then served two secondary Wagyu cuts of the daya prime cut of the day, a decadent Truffle Foie Gras Claypot Rice, Ribeye Suki and Katsu Temaki before concluding with a Truffle Ice Cream

Matcha Afternoon Tea Experience

Discover Akabeko’s unique Japanese-inspired Matcha Afternoon Tea, featuring a harmonious blend of matcha-infused desserts and savory Wagyu delicacies, all thoughtfully curated to highlight authentic flavors. 

The afternoon tea menu features Bao Buns, Mini Croissants, Wagyu Cheeseburger Sliders, and Grilled Rice Balls, along with a selection of sweet Matcha treats including Caramel Matcha Pudding, Matcha Roll Cake, Matcha Macarons, and Matcha Dorayaki. Complementing these treats is a selection of Japanese teas from Mucharaka Tea, available in hot, cold, and sparkling variations. Set against a Zen garden-inspired setting, this afternoon tea is both a visual and culinary delight, offering guests an immersive Japanese experience. Akabeko’s Wagyu Jenga is a one-of-a-kind and playful concept that reimagines the classic game with a unique culinary twist where the traditional wooden blocks are replaced by premium Japanese A5 Kuroge Wagyu beef blocks. Teishoku Business Lunch

Akabeko elevates the business lunch experience with its signature Teishoku Lunch – a refined take on the traditional Japanese set meal that offers a perfectly balanced combination of dishes offering a harmonious balance of flavors, textures and ingredients.  

Designed for Wagyu lovers, the menu features five Wagyu-focused Teishoku lunch sets for diners to choose from, each promising a satisfying mid-day escape.
