Em Sherif Deli, backed by Lavoya Group, has opened its doors in Al Mutarid Lifestyle Centre in Al Ain, bringing the flavours and warmth of Beirut to the city for the first time. The new location is the Deli’s third in the UAE, following One Central and Galleria Mall in Dubai, and its first move beyond the city.
More than simply a place to eat, Em Sherif Deli was created around a feeling familiar to anyone who knows Beirut: generous tables, comforting food and the simple pleasure of gathering together. The Al Ain opening carries that same spirit forward, offering a young and contemporary take on Lebanese dining that feels equally suited to a quick morning stop, lunch on the go or a long meal shared with family and friends.
The new space reflects that relaxed and welcoming approach through natural textures, blonde wood, earthy tones and warm lighting. An easy flow between the indoor and outdoor areas keeps the restaurant open and social, with space for 50 guests across 33 indoor and 17 outdoor seats, creating a setting designed for everyday dining, quick stops and time spent around the table.
“Every new location has its own character, and that is something I find especially exciting about bringing Em Sherif Deli to Al Ain. We’re arriving with the flavours and spirit people already know from the Deli, but we also look forward to becoming part of the rhythm of the city and getting to know the community around us,” says Chef Yasmina Hayek.
The menu stays true to the Lebanese flavours the Deli is known for, while keeping things fresh, relaxed and contemporary. Guests can expect shawarma, mezze, sandwiches and homemade desserts alongside fresh and specialty drinks, as well as Mouneh, the traditional Lebanese pantry staples that bring another taste of home to the experience.
The Deli is designed to work around the day. Guests can settle in for a meal or pick up something to take away bringing together the ease of grab-and-go dining with the comfort and hospitality of a neighbourhood restaurant.
