This Mid Autumn Festival, MEI Restaurant at Mina Al Salam, Madinat Jumeirah invites guests to gather around the table with a specially curated menu available from 25 to 27 September, created to celebrate one of the most significant traditional festivals in Chinese culture.
A time traditionally associated with family, reunion and togetherness, the Mid Autumn Festival brings loved ones together over food and the sharing of moon cakes, one of the occasion’s most recognisable traditions and a symbol of unity and completeness.
For the three day celebration, MEI has curated a special menu with crab at its heart, bringing together a selection of dishes including Black Truffle King Crab Soup, Crab Salad, Snow Crab Dumplings and Spicy Crab Roll, alongside Alaskan King Crab as one of the menu’s main dishes.
The selection continues with Tofu, Eggplant & Black Bean Sauce, Buddha’s Delight and Corn Fed Chicken, creating a menu designed to be enjoyed together and shared around the table.
Guests can complete the experience with a special Moon Cake dessert, priced at AED 50, created especially for the occasion.
The Mid Autumn Festival celebration will also extend across the wider SHI Hospitality family. The same specially curated menu will be available at SHI on Bluewaters Island, while the Moon Cake dessert will be served across MEI, SHI and MOLI, with MOLI located at Dubai Hills Business Park.
Across the three days, MEI offers guests an opportunity to experience the spirit of the Mid Autumn Festival through a menu rooted in sharing, gathering and one of Chinese culture’s most enduring culinary traditions.
