Amelia Dubai, the city’s celebrated destination for gastronomy, mixology, and music, has launched a redesigned Wine & Beverage Menu – a thoughtful reinvention that celebrates exploration, craftsmanship, and the art of drinking.
Inspired by the adventurous spirit of Amelia Earhart, the menu reflects a journey across the world’s winemaking regions, from the ancient vineyards of Greece and Lebanon to famous classic producers of Italy and France shaping the modern wine landscape. “We wanted to create a menu that not only honours the classics but also introduces guests to regions and producers that often go unnoticed,” explains Djordje Knezevic, Head Sommelier at Amelia Dubai.
The selection process balanced global trends, guest preferences, and the versatility of the new food menu. Wines were chosen to accommodate every diner, whether enjoying a glass or a bottle, while complementing the culinary offerings; from crisp whites and sake with Japanese dishes, to bold reds paired with premium steaks, and champagne selections perfect for celebrations or after-hours events in Voyage by Amelia.
The menu introduces a refined balance of both iconic and emerging labels, highlighting expressive wines from the United States alongside distinguished selections from across Europe and beyond. “Our goal was to combine the prestige of classic Old World wines with fresh, contemporary finds from the New World,” says Knezevic.
The menu’s design is as thoughtful as its content. Each region is mapped, allowing guests to navigate their wine journey visually, making the experience intuitive and enjoyable even without a sommelier’s guidance. The layout mirrors Amelia’s attention to detail and brand DNA, enhancing both the aesthetic and sensory experience.
“Wine, to me, is about bringing people together – family, friends, first dates, or business celebrations,” shares Knezevic. “This menu is designed to elevate every occasion, enriching the dining experience at Amelia with diversity, accessibility, and a sense of discovery.”
